Raven Olmstead, Violin

Raven Olmstead is a music educator and violinist. She teaches the strings program at St. Anne’s Episcopal School, and runs a private violin and early childhood music education studio. Determined to explore the full range of her instrument, Raven performs an array of genres. She plays with Folk band Alright, Alright, and was a founding violinist, singer, and arranger in The Northern Empty. Raven collaborated with Dr. Chappell Kingsland in Electric Athena, a piano trio that performs a wide variety of music, from Fanny Mendelsohnn to Prince, and everything in between. Raven holds a Bachelor Degree in Violin Performance, as well as a Suzuki Violin Pedagogy Graduate Certificate from the Lamont School of Music.
