CHILDREN'S LIBRARY  CONCERT 2018

In conjunction with the Poudre River Public Library District, the Front Range Chamber Players provide free concerts of interest to children and families. Children's concerts have been held at Old Town Library and Council Tree Library. Our professional musicians explain their instruments and musical selections to the audience and involve children in the performance.
The Steadfast Tin Soldier, David Mullikin
Mullikin is well-known for his story-pieces with small ensemble and story-teller. He was a cellist with the Colorado Symphony and active in their Music Education Department. In 2002 he was named by the Music Teachers’ National Association as the MTNA-Shepherd Distinguished Composer of the Year. His story-pieces are written for children from pre-K through early grade school. Parents enjoy them too!

Featured performers:
Frank Oden, narrator; Julie Strom, percussion; Erik Peterson, violin; Ann Schnaidt, viola; Lydia Hynson, cello
